A WORD FROM THE PASTOR:
Christmas Day is only twenty four days away! It seemed as if we just celebrated it and now it’s here again. November was an exciting month especially with our Thanksgiving Celebration Sunday. We only had one morning service and the sanctuary was filled. Once again reminding us of the necessity of all the plans we are making for growth. We could almost fill both morning services up if everyone who are members came the same Sunday. I appreciate all of you who are faithful every Sunday and without you the church would cease to exist. Many of you who receive the newsletter are members of WMBC, but you have not been in years. Why not? Many will say I’ve gotten out of the habit of coming to church. Church attendance should not be a habit. Do you only visit your family because it is a habit or because you love them and desire to see them? That is the way it should be with your heavenly Father. And church family. Some say that I am not coming because of the hypocrites in the church. If you call yourself a Christian, but don;t come to worship God, then are you not being the greatest hypocrite? Some may say someone offended me. Was that someone God or His Son Jesus, because anyone else really doesn’t matter. I know God loves you and we love you, also.. Just remembering one thing He says, we are without excuse. Therefore none of us really has an excuse not to come and worship almighty God. We hope to see each of you soon.

Who can believe we will soon be in 2020! Where has this year gone? We’ve ha a good year and the next will only be better.
With that said, its time for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering emphasis. Week of Prayer begins Dec. 1-8th with the focus from Revelation 7:9, “I saw a great multitude from every nation and all tribes and peoples and languages standing before the throne.” Continue to pray for our IMB missionaries that are all over the globe, especially this time of year. There are 3, 678 missionaries serving to reach the 4-5 billion unreached people in 847 different people groups. Pray for them spiritually, emotionally and physically as they meet the challenges they are faced with each day. Our WMBC goal is $10,000. With the generous giving we will have a part in transforming multitudes.
